Sasha has been voted this year's number 1 DJ, knocking Paul Oakenfold off the pole position of DJ magazine's annual Top 100 DJs. "I'm overwhelmed to say the least, Sasha told DJ Mag. You shouldn't really pay much attention to polls and prizes, but because this one's voted for by the clubbers it's seen as the most honest award around. Every year I think I'm going to be slipping because I'm out of the country a lot and there's a lot of other DJs playing more commercial music and much bigger gigs than me. So to find I've actually won it is amazing." Lisa Lashes also became the first woman to ever make the top 10 and was joined by her fellow Code resident DJ, Fergie. Carl Cox, Judge Jules, Paul Van Dyk and Danny Tenaglia maintained their top 10 spots and were also joined by tech house (relative) newcomer Danny Howells. . .
