Splendour In The Grass First Lineup Announcement

No quasi-witty intro here, just the cold hard facts. Splendour In The Grass is back for 2009 and it looks to be as impressive as ever with an enormous lineup of legends like The Flaming Lips, The Specials and Jane’s Addiction, and a slew of top class acts including Hilltop Hoods, Midnight Juggernauts, Friendly Fires, White Lies, Yuksek, Manchester Orchestra, Sarah Blasko, Augie March and Grinspoon. Oh and Bloc Party and MGMT, whose Splendour performances will be their only Australian shows. It goes down on Saturday 25 July and Sunday 26 at Byron Bay’s Belongil Fields. Tickets are on sale Thursday 14 May at qjump.com.au.
