Two albums down, it’s hard to believe that UK rock group The Duke Spirit haven’t yet visited Australia – but this is all about to change, with the announcement of their first ever trip down under. Channelling the likes of The Velvet Underground and the MC5 and boasting The Raveonettes and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club as fans, the four-piece even have a clothing line by Alexander McQueen (he of the £195 T-shirt) inspired by them. Plugging their 2008 release, Neptune, which was reviewed very favourably by yours truly, you can catch the four-piece at Oxford Art Factory Thursday 26 March. Get your tickets through Moshtix.
