The Newtown Festival celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, held at Camperdown Park Sunday 9 November. Live acts performing on the day will be The Seabellies, Cuthbert and the Nightwalkers and Spit Syndicate, possibly even you. Yes you read it right. FBi are holding a band competition to find a local band to play at the festival. So send your demos in to FBi (PO Box 1962 Strawberry Hills NSW 2012) by 9 October, marked ‘Newtown Festival Band Comp’. Further details found on fbiradio.com.
