V Fest Sideshows Announced

Festivals- Pfft. It’s all about the sideshows. Don’t get us wrong, festivals are great (well, most of them are…) but there’s nothing like seeing a band headlining their own gig, surrounded by their own fans. With that in mind we’re super-excited to announce the V Festival sideshows, and boy are you gonna be poor in April, but boy is it worth it. Here goes: Smashing Pumpkins play Hordern Pavilion Sunday 27 March before Duran Duran play the Entertainment Centre and Queens of the Stone Age play the Big Top in Luna Park on Monday 28. The following week sees Roisin Murphy play the Metro Theatre and the Jesus and Mary Chain play the Enmore Theatre, both on Wednesday 2 April, before Modest Mouse (left, supported by Hot Hot Heat) play the Big Top Thursday 3.
