According to the press release, the upcoming Unified National Tour, presented by triple j, is the first tour in over ten years that will see four bands travelling 13,000kms to play 25 universities for four hours of musical mayhem. Firstly, we want to know who previously did it, and secondly, woo-fuckin’-hoo! It’s a hip hop extravaganza with Bliss N Eso, True Live, The Funkoars and the Winnie Coopers representing Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and the Gold Coast respectively. OK, let’s get on with the dates, shall we- Local dates include Canberra’s ANU Bar Wednesday 16 April and University of Wollongong Thursday 17 (both sans True Live), UNSW Roundhouse, Sydney Saturday 19, Newcastle Uni Wednesday 30 and Coffs University Saturday 3 May.
