As far as music royalty goes, Leonard Cohen is king. With practically everyone who’s ever picked up a guitar eternally in his debt – he wrote Hallelujah, which Jeff Buckley made his own, for starters – the news of his first Australian tour in nearly a quarter of a century is massive. He’ll be playing two shows nearby, firstly at the Sydney Entertainment Centre Wednesday 28 January and secondly as part of A Day On the Green at Bimbadgen Estate, Hunter Valley on Saturday 31. Tickets go on sale Monday 10 November through Ticketmaster.
