Spice Girls 'Really Want' To Perform for Mandela

The Spice Girls want to impress Nelson Mandela, but have yet to be invited to the 90th birthday celebrations planned for the spiritual leader.

At a backstage press conference, the girls commented were excited by the opportunity - to be held in June - even though they've yet to be officially asked to mime...err...perform.

It's been reported the former South African President is eager for them to be on the stage, but it's also been reported that monkeys are taking over the earth sometime soon, to which we'll all face eternal, ironic damnation.

Even funnier, they're all apparently the best of friends.

Hopefully an all-out mud wrestling match happens instead. Or another apartheid - both much more desirable. Tags
