Presets Lead 2008 Arias With Eight Nominations

The 2008 ARIA Awards nominations have been announced, and The Presets are certainly the favourites with eight nominations including Best Group, Single of the Year, Album of the Year and Best Dance Release as well as the already won trio of Best Cover Art, Best Video and Producer of the Year. (They were also up for Engineer of the Year.) Congrats to Kim and Julian from everyone at 3D World for the wins so far. The Potbelleez are also up for three awards: Highest Selling Single, Breakthrough Artist and Best Dance Release, while Midnight Juggernauts nab two nominations, for Best Independent Release and Breakthrough Artist. Cut Copy, Mobin Master and Pnau round off the Best Dance Release category, while Hilltop Hoods are up for Best Music DVD. It’s also an extremely tough category for Best Urban Release, with A-Love, Bliss N Eso, Katalyst, Muph & Plutonic, Spit Syndicate and The Herd all up for top gong.
