Other Big Day Out Side Shows Announced
As you no doubt predicted, Arctic Monkeys won’t be the only act thrilling fans with side show performances outside of their Big Day Out commitments. On Tuesday 20 January Lupe Fiasco cools down the Enmore; The Ting Tings will have everybody calling their name at the Metro, while The Black Kids throw a Partie Traumatic with Van She at the Gaelic Club. On Wednesday 21 January Simian Mobile Disco will be attacking the Metro, as Hot Chip emerge from the darkness of the Enmore. Saturday 24 January sees dance behemoths The Prodigy smack up the Hordern Pavilion; elsewhere Serj Tankian Elects the Dead at the Enmore, with special guests Fantomas; the Metro tunes into TV On The Radio, with support from Wolf & Cub. Last, but certainly not least, Pendulum let the Tarantula out of the box at the Enmore Theatre on Sunday 25 January, while Dropkick Murphys, backed up by The Cops, boot down the doors of the Metro.
