NME Co-Presents Purple Sneakers NYE
The Boundary Sounds crew have been building and building their parties each New Year’s Eve, going from the intimate affair two years ago to last year’s bonanza. This year the Purple Sneakers New Year’s Eve House Party at Manning Bar have nabbed Club NME to co-present and are also introducing their first internationals; they’re not holding back on the talent - returning for the second time this year, France’s Teenagers will be bringing in the new year down under, as well as 2008’s underground British indie heroes Frightened Rabbit. On the local bench, Sparkadia, Yves Klein Blue, Teenagersintokyo, The Jezabels, MC Gaff E, Dept. (PhDJ’s other project), PhDJ, Soft Tigers DJs and Purple Sneakers DJs round off the first line-up. Tickets go on sale Thursday 2 October via purplesneakersnewyearseve.com.au (it’s a bit of a mouthful…), Moshtix, Ticketek and the Sydney University Access office.
