JD Launches New Band Comp

Jack Daniel’s are relaunching their name in the Oz live music scene with one hell of an initiative. The JD Set is a new competition, which will feature four national tours of Australia throughout 2008, all featuring three bands voted for you via an online poll. Each band gets an insane prize (national tour, professional recording of a song and full copyright ownership, radio time etc), and you get the kudos for helping them get there, via your vote. The six bands vying for the three spots on the first tour are Angela’s Dish, Braindead Lovers, Dardanelles, The Fumes, The Hot Lies and Mink, so get voting for who you want to see touring.
