The day has arrived: Franz Ferdinand have announced a Sydney sideshow. Owners of one of the hottest records of 2009, the Scottish trio are making their way back to Australia for the first time since 2006, with an album worth of new songs from their upcoming third album Tonight: Franz Ferdinand. Joining them will be the haemoglobin loving The Cribs and FF’s Australian touring friends Red Riders. YES, THAT’S RIGHT – RED RIDERS ARE NOT DEAD. The Sydney indie group also have a new album in the works, so this news grab has officially been the best one of the day.
