First Splendour In The Grass Acts Announced

You’ve been speculating for months and now, you lucky people, take a deep breath and relax as the first wave of acts for Splendour In The Grass 2008 has been announced. A diverse mix, containing some surprising inclusions and others decidedly less so, Splendour has confirmed itself as the place to be come Saturday 2 August.
Devo, Wolfmother, Sigur Ros and The Presets are the performers vying for top billing. But the rest of the line-up is no less impressive, with Tricky, The Living End, Vampire Weekend, Ben Lee, Cold War Kids, The Fratellis, The Wombats, Pnau, The Grates, The Vines, Band Of Horses, Operator Please, Van She, The Panics, Gyroscope, Lightspeed Champion, MSTRKRFT, The Music, and Laura Marling sharing poster space amongst others.
