Iceland seems to be the home of beautiful female singers; first there was Björk, now there’s Emiliana Torrini. (Although you don’t need to be high to enjoy the latter’s music – joking!) With new album in tow – called Me and Armini – you can catch Torrini at the Metro Theatre Monday 17 November. Seriously, her shows during 2006 were captivating to say the least, so you’d be crazy to miss her this time round. Did you know she wrote Kylie’s Slow- Well, she did.
