If you’re unable to attend the 2009 Laneway Festival and were weeping at the mere thought of missing out on the likes of Stereolab, Born Ruffians and The Hold Steady, chin up: all three will be performing respective side shows. On Thursday 5 February the Metro will welcome Stereolab. Born Ruffians invade Oxford Art Factory on the same night, while a day earlier on Wednesday 4 February The Hold Steady will be playing the Metro. Visit lanewayfestival.com.au for details.
