While already boasting a great lineup of dance music acts including Soulwax/2Many DJs, Gnarls Barkley and Groove Armada, a specialist dance tent-come-speakeasy has been added by V Festival organisers.

Tent ringmasters are Sydney's The Bang Gang DJs. Dangerous Dan, DJ Damage, Jaime Doom and Gus da Hoodrat known collectively as The Bang Gang have slowly built a reputation for themselves as the DJs de jour be it through their appearances, remix work, compilations and original production work.

They are to be joined by some of the cream of the international crop.

Frenchies Gildas & Masaya (Kitsune DJs) are the masterminds behind the Kitsune record label which plays host to such artists as Digitalism, Guns N Bombs and Simian Mobile Disco to name but a few.

The late night party kings of New York, Rub-n-Tug aka Thomas and Eric D, have been know to dabble in a little bit of production and remixing work for the likes of LCD Soundsystem.

A leg up on the local flavour sees Melbourne's Mr. Music, Andee Frost, who's been succinctly referenced to as a 'supply chain unto himself', DJing, producing and even selling his records to the masses.

V Festival is proud to announce the Virgin Mobile Venue as the dance stage at this year's inaugural event bringing a completely different look and feel to the festival and providing punters with a place to get lost in the crowd.
