Vega Gets His Erotic Lust On

It comes as no surprise that one of the world's longest-serving dance music DJs is always trying to look for new ways to push his own boundaries. After such a long time in the scene, it's only natural for someone of Louie Vega's calibre to test the waters with both elbows.

In a new production entitled 'Lust', Vega is teaming up with progressive visual artist Jonas Larsson to "fuse erotic photography with delectable dance beats".

After a preview was held at this year's WMC, the pair is taking 'Lust' to the UK for a 30th April release extravaganza.

So, we all know who Louie Vega is, but who is this Jonas Larsson-

Apparently, he's "fast becoming one of the acclaimed names of the visual arts fraternity, combining conceptual imagery with textual prose...his unashamed combination of story-led visual artistry compliments the music themes devised by Louie".

TranZfusion did a quick google on Jonas Larsson and it came back with an interesting result: Only one link followed the works of Larsson, but it gave us an insight into the idea behind Lust. It's quite cool - the artwork was pretty spot on.

It might just be us, but we're not quite sure he quantifies the Lust notion.

Anyhoo...Vega's excited about the new project and says he's "delighted to continue to reach new heights" with his work.

"Lust has enabled me to continue my creative collaborations and I am so appreciative of the feedback from UK audiences," he states.

This will be big and bold and everything in between. It's also out pretty soon!
