True Live are so hot right now they even scored themselves an interview in TranZfusion recently (you can find links to it and other True Live reviews and news also on this page). If you need further proof, check out their critically acclaimed debut album 'The Shape Of It' and recent sell-out Australian tour (also reviewed by TranZfusion) The six-piece band received a 4-star review in music bible Rolling Stone - its highest honour - and had punters hanging from the rafters at gigs around the country with their sonic fusion of jazz, hip hop and orchestra.

Fresh from a headlining slot at Brisbane's BBO Breaks event on New Years Day, where they dished up a crowd-stopping performance alongside the likes of Ugly Duckling and Z-Trip, the group hit Sydney to help get 2007 off to a flying start. On the subject of flying, TranZfusion advises you to catch True Live while you can as they'll doubtlessly be spreading their musical wings beyond Australian waters during 2007, remaining a homegrown secret no longer.

Listen out for some of their new material, as they revealed to TranZfusion in December that, "True Live are gonna hit the studio and start drafting in January."

Catch them while you can at:

The Basement on Friday March 2nd www.thebasement.com.au

The Brass Monkey on Sunday March 4th www.brassmonkey.com.au
