Table Tennis at the Annandale

Ubercoolische Berliners have been doing the beers and ping pong thing for a few years now, which means it’s almost played-out over there but finally trickling down over here. The Annandale Hotel is the first one to jump on the bandwagon, with the Florida 2000 International Table Tennis Championship kicking off this Saturday and every Saturday thereafter in the beer garden. Teams of industry types and civilians will do battle to determine who’s best with the bat. No word yet on whether they’ll be playing the ‘must have beer in hand’ rule, but you can find out more at myspace.com/florida2k.
