TDK Time Warp 2007 Lineup Announced

Germany's TDK Time Warp Festival, held each year in Mannheim since 1994, will be an official part of the festivities as the city celebrates its 400th anniversary in 2007. The celebrations will see seven days of events from the 24th March, climaxing in a party on the final Saturday. The Time Warp Festival itself itself will expand from the usual 2 days to be held over eight days.

The festival will finish on Saturday, March 31st with its flagship event - a nineteen hour marathon of DJ and live sets from possibly the best assembled techno and minimal lineup ever. Artists for the closing extravaganza include Sven Väth, Richie Hawtin, Dave Clarke, DJ Hell, Chris Liebing, James Holden, Ricardo Villalobos, Monika Kruse, DJ Koze, Turntablerocker, Ellen Allien, Steve Bug, Karotte, Loco Dice, Magda, Shinedoe, Raresh, Guy Gerber, Anthony Rother, Mathew Jonson, Extrawelt and Martin Buttrich.

Some highlights:
Tuesday, 27th of March: Laurent Garnier präsentiert "Finis Terrae" Cinemix - The french techno ambassador Laurent Garnier will present a live performance of his soundtrack to Jean Epstein's poetic docudrama 'Finis Terrae' (1929).

Friday, 30. March 2007: Monolake live - Monolake performed live at the Tate Modern in London this year, where they used the audio visual network sequencer "Atlantic Waves IV", as part of the "Minimalist Monday" concert series. They will now bring a similar show to Mannheim!
