'It's been a long time since we left you, without any dope beats to step to.'

That's the tag from the official PR from Strictly Rhythm, the label that gave us DV8's Freedom and artists such as Black Orchid, Sandy Rivera and many, many more.

Anyhoo, we'll let their statement do the talking:

"...Strictly Rhythm, the world's most legendary house music label, is back. And that means not only can you get your hands on all those classic releases once more - including digital download for the first time - it also means that Strictly will be back in the new releases section.

"Looking for River Ocean's 'Love & Happiness'- Or Lil'Mo Yin Yang's 'Reach- Maybe you need Barbara Tucker's 'I Get Lifted' or Armand Van Helden's 'Witch Doktor. Take your pick, we have 30 brand new digitally remastered vinyl releases and 100 digital downloads already available from Strictly Rhythm's finest releases, with more to come.

"But we're not just sitting back on the classics. Wink's 'Higher State of Consciousness', the track that defined breakbeat acid, is the first to get a revamp with brand new mixes from Oz's finest, Dirty South & TV Rock, and Dutch maestro Marco V. Hot on the heels of that we have brand new Masters At Work re-rubs of the aforementioned 'Love & Happiness' before work starts in earnest on a bumper remix album of Strictly's finest moments reinterpreted by the cream of today's house music talent.

"Kenny and Louie are also threatening to deliver a DJ mix album of all their personal Strictly picks.

"Then it's all gonna be about what's shiny and new. We're chuffed that our first all-new release features several old friends we know well - Todd Terry, Kenny Dope and DJ Sneak have combined as the Todd Terry All Stars for the irresistibly catchy 'Get Down' featuring the talented Tara McDonald on vocals (she also graced Armand Van Helden's 'My My My').

"Then we have a single, 'April' and album, 'Beyond Elements' from the one and only Osunlade, here giving us the housier side of his multi-faceted production abilities, and there are further singles to come from Chicago's Grand High Priest and Mood II Swing. After that we'll be limbering up with one of the brightest new talents in dance, Quentin Harris, who's readying a new EP and album for Strictly.

"It's great to be back: enjoy the ride."

Nice...nice and nice.
