Stomp is proud to welcome the Global Underground label to its roster of the world's best dance labels. It joins an already impressive roster that includes Buzzin Fly, Renaissance, Defected, Kompakt, Pokerflat, Distinctive, DMC, OM Records & Border Community to name a few.

Global Underground pioneered and cxontinue to lead with one of the most respected series of electronic compilations to date. GU has featured many of the worlds leading DJ's including Sasha, John Digweed, Danny Tenaglia, Lee Burridge, James Lavelle, Dave Seaman and Darren Emerson.

Global Underground also pioneered some of the world's best new talent. Launched in 1999, the Nu-Breed series showcased up and coming DJs like Amsterdam's Sander Kleinenberg, Melbourne's Anthony Pappa and the UK's Steve Lawler. GU also launched GU Music to promote original work from original talent -artists like Holland's Pako and Frederik, Australia's Lostep and the UK's Dark Globe.

Global Underground reaches it's milestone 30th album, with the brand new Nick Warren mix 'GU030: Paris', his seventh mix CD in the popular GU mix series .Paris will be released on March 12 & launched alongside his forthcoming Australian tour (headlining the Future Music Festival). The first of several Global Underground albums planned for 2007, ' Paris' is a landmark for the label that only it's longest serving DJ could celebrate, and this latest album will no doubt be well received by Nick Warren and Global Underground fans alike.

In 2007 you can expect more quality Global Underground albums including, 'GU31: Taiwan', mixed by Dubfire (from DeepDish), and 'GU32: Mexico', which will see the debut of Adam Freeland on the label.

Add in a new 'Afterhours 3' and Sasha's eagerly anticipated follow up to his debut 'Involver' and 2007 already has much to watch out for!
