Sandy Rivera Heading To Oz

Few artists can boast being a DJ, producer and a record label owner, and even fewer have been doing it successfully for more than ten years. Luckily for us, Sandy Rivera, who is set to wow Australia in June, is one such artist.

Most famous as the driving force behind worldwide phenomenon Kings of Tomorrow (K.O.T), Rivera's chameleon-like ability to challenge norms and traverse musical boundaries is indicative of his pure genius.

Starting out in 1992, he was immediately immersed in the hip-hop sound of the day, and in 1994 launched BlackWiz records.
Over time he evolved musically and fell in love with the house movement, which soon led to the establishment of Deep Vision in 1995. Responsible for producing the mammoth hit 'Come into my Room,' Rivera's ability to fuse house, soul, electro and deep tech into a distinctive hybrid sound saw him widely respected as a musical pioneer and visionary. Hit after hit followed, with the hugely successful 'Finally' (under his K.O.T guise) gaining Rivera international acclaim and winning awards all around the globe.
The relationship between Sandy and Defected proved to be most advantageous and further hits include the classic 'Changes' and the gripping house track 'I Can't Stop'.

The latest hit to come from this music maestro is 'Lollipop'. Here he teams up with Trix and lends sexy vocals to Dada's hot new track. It's the song on everyone's lips and is already proving to be one of THE songs of 2007.
