Oz hip hoppers take the world stage

Melbournian rapper 360 and Sydney’s Anecdote are Australia’s first representatives at the prestigious JumpOff World Rap Championships in NYC on Saturday 1 December, amongst challengers from LA, Toronto, London, etc. And with a prize of $50,000 cash, I’m wondering if I haven’t gone and entered the wrong damn industry… Partners in a two-on-two tournament, the Aussie wordsmiths can be witnessed on global broadcast early December, available through jumpoff.tv/wrc2007.php.  Also, look out for 360’s album release, What You See Is What You Get, out early 2008.
