MySpace reaches out

It’s heartening to know that MySpace is using its awesome powers for good and not evil. MySpace and the Inspired Foundation are collaborating on Reach Out, an initiative to provide support for young people in need. Because, let’s face it - what with issues of depression, alcohol and drug addiction, eating disorders, family relationships, sexuality, bullying, grief, loss and Hilary Duff movies - young people are pretty messed up. Rather than shaking hands with McDonald’s or Apple, MySpace Australia will be using its advertising space to let its users know where they can find quality information and/or counselling in their time of need.
