Moby's 'Best Of' Remixed Album to Include mixes by Ferry Corsten, Trentemoller & Mylo

Following on from his 2006 greatest hits album 'Go - The Very Best Of Moby' comes the announcement of 'Go: The Very Best Of Moby Remixed'. Featuring the finest re-interpretations of his tracks by some of the best known names in dance music it is set to be released late March. Some of the artists whose remixes are showcased include Armand Van Helden, Faithless, Steve Angello, Ferry Corsten, Mylo and Trentemoller.

Moby, a Grammy award winner, is arguably best known for his 1999 album 'Play', which sold over ten million copies. It also made the records books for being the first album to commercially license all of its tracks to movie soundtracks and television programs.

Perhaps in a humble mood at the time, Moby stated, "These remixes are great, and I can say that objectively because I didn't do any of them. They were all done by people who are much, much cooler than I, so I just sit back and bask in their reflected glory."

The Trentemoller remix features Debbie Harry on vocals and was written and recorded over northern summer in Manhattan. "I enjoyed working with and getting to know Moby while recording New York, New York," Debbie Harry was quoted as saying on www.realdj.com. "We both live in the city and l love all the inspiration it's given each of us. Moby has a strong artistic vision, but he was also willing to listen to any suggestions that I had, which made me feel a real part of the song. I hope we can do more in the future."

Exclusive to the CD is an unreleased remix of 'In My Heart' by Manhattan Clique, 'Go - Remixed' will be available on CD and digital download with differing track listings. The CD offers James Bond Theme (Moby's re-version) and Feeling So Real - Old Skool mix while the download delivers We Are All Made Of Stars - Bob Sinclair Main Vocal Mix and Escapar (Slipping Away - Manhattan Clique edit).
