Australia’s most famous beat boxer Joel Turner – the current world champion, thank you very much – was violently attacked after trying to break up a fight at a Brisbane house party. Turner suffered a broken jaw and underwent surgery last Saturday, only hours after the incident took place. He was busy preparing to embark on a national school tour to promote values and peer respect amongst young Australians, and was also promoting new single City of Dreams. However, due to this incident, he will be out of action for a few weeks. Turner’s single These Kids was the highest selling Australian single of 2004. We here at 3D wish Turner a speedy recovery.
