The final judging panel for the International Songwriting Competition has been announced, and there are some big names in there, including Tom Waits, Julian Casablancas (The Strokes), Nelly Furtado, Robert Smith (The Cure), Macy Gray, Sean Paul, Jerry Lee Lewis, Frank Black (Pixies), Tiesto, Peter Hook (Joy Division, New Order) and Ornette Coleman. And that’s just the artists! There are also industry reps as well. But yeah…songwriting comp.
