Yes...it's back again.

It's hard to believe that in the space of eight years, the 'Back To Mine' series is popping out its 25th release. To help celebrate the milestone, the Dance Music Collective is enlisting the services of Norwegian kids, Royksopp.

'Melody AM' was not only the debut album for the Scandinavian duo, it was also the shot in the arm electronic music needed - more than 1 million albums were sold worldwide (500,000 in the UK alone) ensured they were performing with the likes of Basement Jaxx and Moby. With this kind of resume, one can only assume the DMC decided to keep their special release aligned with the rise of the Royksopp bandwagon.

The release takes the listener on a glistening journey from the reflection of glitterball to some soothing, eclectic and educational moments that include that little bit of aromatic cheese (this is probably one of the few compilations that allows music to work so well, regardless of track selection).

With a track list comprising some of the more important artists from our generation (including Talking Heads, Brian Eno, Art of Noise and more), Röyksopp cruises through a masterful lesson in Italo , Disco, Electro, Hip-House and P-Funk. Mixing rare gems and classic cuts, this is a must for any self-respecting 'Back to Mine' fan.
