Shore Thing, an event that has quickly grown to legendary proportions as Bondi Beach revellers bring in the New Year for a third year, will play host to UK dance supergroup, Groove Armada.

The announcement will do no harm to 'Shore Thing's' reputation as being on of the hottest (and hardest to acquire) tickets in town when they go on sale from midday September 10th. Previous headliners have included Fatboy Slim and Basement Jaxx.

The British duo of Andy Cato and Tom Findlay are arguably best known for their anthem 'I See You Baby (shaking that Ass)', just one highlight of a career spanning ten years and producing four top 10 albums, the most recent of which was 'Soundboy Rock', released in May. Just as impressive are their 10 top 40 singles (in the UK).

Recognising the perils that so often accompany a live performance by a dance music act, Cato had this to say in an interview that went to print in the Western Australian publication, The Sunday Times, on September 1st: "The norm in the dance industry then, and now to a large extent, is for a big live show and a couple of silhouettes on stage. "That was not what we wanted to do. We wanted to have a live band but still keep the dance music bottom-end phatness. It took a few years to get it right."
