The accompanying press release for the copy of Kid Kenobi Sessions 2007 we received this week proclaims, “Warning: people, this is not a breaks album”. So Kid Kenobi is embracing his inner electro and house it seems, with tunes from the likes of Chromeo, SebastiAn, Tiga and Armand Van Helden featuring. There’s even a Bloc Party remix on there! The Kid is also heading out on tour, bring his Kid Kenobi Sessions tour to Sounds On Sunday 29 July, preceded by the Academy, Canberra Friday 13 July and King Street Hotel, Newcastle Friday 20 July.Tags
