Don Diablo - DJ Tiesto's Heir Apparently

A man who does everything, Don Diablo has just been voted 'Most Popular Dutch DJ' at the annual GKA Awards in Amsterdam at a sold-out Paradiso. Armin van Buuren and Fedde le Grande were amongst the nominees for the night's most-coveted award for dance music.
The 26-year old was surprised and happy for receiving the well-respected gong, seeing it as a sign of appreciation for his contribution to the Dutch dance music scene this past year.
"2006 has been a very successful year for me with a lot of musical highs. However, these achievements definitely did not come overnight. I've invested a lot of time and energy in my music and theref-ore, this award is extra special to me."
Dubbed the 'Oscars of the Dutch Dance Industry', the GKA Awards is the longest-running awards show for the Dutch dance industry. We're not quite sure if there are any others in Holland, but there probably isn't.
