Known to change its name almost as often as Prince changes his, the festival formerly known as Fuse-in Detroit: Electronic-Soul Movement and Movement, the Detroit Electronic Music Festival is a happening proposition once again.
No announcements as to the lineup have yet been made, but as always, some of the genre's biggest DJs and acts are a certainty to be in attendance.
The festival celebrates Detroit's heritage as the birthplace of techno.
Paxahau, awarded control of the festival last year by the City of Detroit after a battle with the original founders, drew a three-day audience of about 40,000 last year with Richie Hawtin in the headlining slot. Tags
