When The Great Escape Festival takes over Newington Armory on the Easter long weekend, two stages will be dedicated to your dancing shoes. Thursday 5 April is the big one for the electronically inclined, so if you’re planning on pitching a tent early it’s unlikely you’ll be in bed by 11. The Purple Sneakers DJs will rattle the Tin Shed, while in the T-Bar Future Classic and Niche Productions offer up DJ Fitchie (Fat Freddy’s Drop), Jamie Lloyd & Jimi Polar, Somatik, DJ Regal, Simon Caldwell and Frenzie.
