Fresh from a series of European gigs to road-test the new material, Chicane are back with the brand new single 'Come Tomorrow' out on 2nd July and third studio album 'Somersault' released on his own label, Modena Recordings. Chicane will perform their new material at Glastonbury on 23rd June and at their headline London show at Islington Academy on the 27th July.

According to dancenova.com, Chicane mastermind Nick Bracegirdle has come along way from the Ibiza sound he was renowned for, and has produced and written this striking new album with a natural evolution of the Chicane sound in mind. Nick came onto the scene in 1997 with the highly sought after album 'Far From the Maddening Crowds' featuring the anthemic single 'Offshore'. Several A list collaborations followed - Nick has worked with Bryan Adams, Marie Brennan (Clannad), Tom Jones and Jewel to name but a few - and has huge successes at home and internationally.

Despite set backs (including an internet leak of the last album, which prevented it's full release), Chicane are back with new material which is an evolution of their more dance-based sound. Although the dance element is still present, Somersault presents a new rock/ indie edge with a definite swing towards song based tracks incorporating strong melodies - is a natural progression for an artist within the dance scene who is always pushing boundaries.

Nick said; 'It is an interesting thing how people interpret your music; I'm still amazed how many people believe I'm a DJ! I have always been a songwriter from the start, so this album is no departure. The new album allows me to push the Chicane sound further and let my songs take on a bigger and broader dimension.'

Chicane have been playing shows all over the world to packed out venues - from Manila to Manchester, from St Petersburg to Swansea - and is now bringing the Chicane experience back to the UK to perform at Glastonbury on the Q stage. Chicane will also perform at the Islington Academy on the 27th July and some sporadic dates in the UK and Europe over the summer, before embarking on a UK tour in the autumn and onto the rest of the world soon after.
