Family will no longer be presenting a stage at the Brisbane leg of Future Music Festival this year.

After Future Entertainment and the well-known nightclub cited "unresolvable commercial dispute" issues, Future's head honchos have decided to put a Melbourne stamp on the night by introducing Famous to the Doomben punters.

If you're not from Melbourne, this part is for you.

"Famous is a brand new Saturday night clubbing experience presented by Future Entertainment. It's home is at the Queensbridge in Melbourne and it hosts no less than 2,300 each week. It's also kicking off weekly at Australia's most-recognised club, Home Sydney."

Judging by the 10,000-strong crowd that rocked on at the Perth leg of the festival, Future Music Festival something that shouldn't be missed, regardless of commercial disputes.
