Annie Knightingale Gets Distinctive Compilation

Y4K apparently is the 'longest running, best-known and most widely acclaimed breaks compilation series in the world'.

We here at TranZfusion are always up for a bit of an argument to suggest otherwise, but without having to resort to militia-styled name smearing, we're going to have to agree - especially when the latest brings the First Lady of the Breaks sound to the fore in the shape of the legendary Annie Knightingale.

As the first female DJ to spread her dance wings across the mixing desk of Radio 1, Annie now has a massive audience and huge respect throughout most scenes across the music world. With a tireless dedication to breaks, she has 80,000 weekly listeners to her show plus the same again in the US where Sirius Radio streams Annie's show live.

Annie has done an unmixed compilation featuring 14 killer tracks from all of the big guns like Stanton Warriors, as well as a significant amount from smaller producers and unsigned artists like Codex Machine.
