Yousef is coming to Town!

Synonymous with slick, jackin' sleazy beats, edged with an aggressive and relentless groove, Yousef is one ofthe UK's top DJs, having played every major UK city as well as countless locations across Europe, Africa, Asia,Australia and America. Yousef now makes a return to our shores to show us how he puts the fun into housemusic.

HISTORY
In 1997 Yousef was the first winner of Muzik Magazine's Bedroom Bedlam, the competition that later gave theworld James Zabiela. He went on to win 'Best Breakthrough DJ' at the 2001 Muzik Awards, mix the DMC 2002compilation, and snare a Radio 1 residency. He was also signed to Junior Boys Own under his production name10,000BC.

In 2002, he began his own club night Circus. The monthly event soon grew into a monster, attracting DJs suchas Derrick Carter, Carl Cox, Nic Fanciulli, Groove Armada, SteveLawler, Laurent Garnier, Sneak, and many more. It won the HouseRules Club of the Year on Radio 1 at the end of 2004, and has hosted aLive Radio 1 Essential mix. 2005 has seen Yousef release a Renaissancemix, with subsequent world tour. His Circus continues to go fromstrength to strength.

PRODUCTIONS
Yousef literally lives and breathes music. Together with Paul Woolfordin the guise of 10,000BC, he released Whatever as well as remixingthe likes of Meeker's Come Together, The Angry Mexican DJs' RockDior, Hubert Hudson's Maracana and Baracus Bijongo's. Hiscollaboration with Steve Mac (as The Drum Bums) has seen two hugelysuccessful releases so far, I Like This/The Darkness and CircusParade.

Yousef has also established his own label, Carioca, whose releases include tracks from Jordan Fields, Onionz, Blakkat and Tyra, LeeMortimer and Yousef himself (sometimes under his Harry Monroe moniker).

He recently released 'Yousef - Friends, A Collaboration ofBeats', and eight track vinyl release featuring collabortaions with PaulWoolford, Nic Fanciulli, Steve Mac, Gene Farris, Justin Long andmore.Yousef's own remixes include Fatboy Slim The joker, Jamiroquai Electric mistress, Kid Massive Alright, School If, Tim Deluxe Less talk more action, Boris D'Lugosh Keep Pushing Moloko Cannot Contain This, Phil Weeks Candela, and more.
