After the sellout success of We Love… Sounds in June 2005, the now annual We Love… Sounds Winter Festival returns to the Hordern precinct, boasting more than 30 DJs, bands and live acts from Australia and across the world. This year's event expands to three unique music arenas, showcasing the globe's finest house, hip hop, electro, breaks, progressive and techno.
Last year's party set a new standard in event production and performance, demonstrating Sounds and We Love's commitment to deliver you the ultimate festival experience. This Queens Birthday Long Weekend will be no different as we are excited to introduce an amazing venue to the event, The Forum (ex City Live/Stage 11), a purpose built concert/ nightclub auditorium for more than 2000 people! A day and night experience to remember… We Love Sounds!
We Love…, for those of you who don't know, are the promoters of We Love… Sundays at Space, Ibiza, voted best club night in the world, twice! Their residents and regular guests include Groove Armada, Felix Da Housecat, Sasha and Danny Tenaglia to name but a few. This year, We Love Space Sundays residents include James Zabiela and Tiefschwarz, both who will be traveling to Australia and featuring at We Love… Sounds.
Darren Hughes, owner of We Love, was joint owner/creator of both the Cream and Home empires, in their hey day, before jumping off the superclub wagon before it's demise. Darren was recently in Sydney making preparations, alongside Sounds, for the We Love Sounds festival.
