(New York, NY) -- Ultra Records and David Waxman are proud to announce the newest addition to their family of groundbreaking dance music compilations: Ultra.Electro.

In the tradition of the wildly successful Ultra.Dance, Ultra.Trance, and Ultra.Chilled; this 2-CD set provides a crash course into the hottest electronic music genre today: electro. Ultra.Electro contains 24 of the freshest electro tracks, an innovative sound that is taking the dance world by storm.

Disc 1 begins with everybody's favorite animated band the Gorillaz and the pulsing Soulwax remix to their giant hit DARE. Electronic pioneers Depeche Mode provide their signature synth-pop sound, with a little help in the beat department from Jacque Lu Cont, on A Pain That I'm Used To. New Order, another revolutionary electronic band, prove that they are still as relevant today as they were back in the 80's with their brilliant single Waiting for the Sirens Call. The beats continue non-stop as electro greats Ladytron, Daft Punk, and Moby all lay out their pounding dance hits. Tiefschwarz lends their remixing talent to critically acclaimed Goldfrapp's sexy & sultry sensation Ooh La La as well as providing an original track, Warning Siren. Showing that great music crosses all boundaries, N.E.R.D.'s (aka the Neptunes) hip-hop track She Wants to Move gets an intense electro makeover from DFA that closes out Disc 1 with a bang.

Disc 2 starts off just as blazing when M.A.N.D.Y. vs Booka Shade contribute their wildly popular track Body Language, a rocking collaboration that received the Ibiza DJ Award for Track of the Season. Fresh off their success in remixing the newest singles of Madonna and the Scissor Sisters, Paper Faces give NYC house legend Armand van Helden's hit Sugar a hot new sound. Tom Novy's anthem Your Body is heating up dance floors worldwide, and is now available for play in living rooms throughout the country with Gianlucca Motta's stellar remix.

Mixed by New York City DJ David Waxman, this exceptional compilation marks Ultra Record's latest triumph as well as a new chapter in the ever-changing world of dance music. Often imitated and never duplicated, Ultra Records' Ultra.Electro will be this season's must have dance collection.
