Triple j launches jtv

Australia’s national youth broadcaster triple j has finally moved beyond the realm of radio with the impending launch of jtv, comprising four weekly programs: jtv (Friday nights at 11-10pm) with rotating presenters, behind-the-scenes footage from the triple j studios and a feature story from Hack; jtv saturday (9am Saturdays) with Rosie Beaton counting down the Top 20 from Super Request; jtv live (11-30pm Saturday nights) with exclusive footage of live local and international acts; and jtv XL (9pm Tuesday nights) with a bumper two hours of the whole week’s jtv footage on ABC2. Jtv kicks off Friday 28 July on ABC TV, with jtv live launching the following night with a special concert by You Am I filmed at Sydney’s Mint. See jtv.com.au for more.
