Triple j Unearthed goes online

Triple j’s Unearthed program has been discovering top-notch new Australian music ever since Grinspoon took out the inaugural competition in 1995. Now the initiative is going 24 hours with the launch of triplejunearthed.com, a site where unsigned bands can upload their music, bio and band photos, triple j listeners can hear and rate the music and presenters can browse the bands to find material to play on-air. Bands submitting songs retain full copyright and also have the chance to win numerous competitions, such as a paid spot playing at this year’s Homebake. The site is online now, so check it out.
