Trentemoller's issues Last Resort

It was shuffling room only at his Chinese Laundry set in Sydney, so it’s fair to say Trentemøller’s debut album Last Resort is eagerly anticipated down under. The two-CD release is out 9 October on Pokerflat Records/Stomp, boasting one disc of new tracks and another with nine of the producer’s past singles and a couple of vocal cuts. It’s a relatively downtempo outing, grounded in electronica, yet incorporating live drums, guitars, bass and other acoustic instruments. As a bonus, there’s a Trentemøller tour rumoured for around NYE time.
