British Prime Minister Tony Blair demonstrated his own increasing rapidfeminisation this week by showing off his well defined ‘man boobs’,while vacationing in the Caribbean.
Just two weeks previously, he shocked commentators by claimingcross-dressing is ‘rampant’ in British politics and his latestshameless display of his womanly breasts accompanied by fancy floralswimming trunks provoked fury from jealous journalists.
“They say modern. They say stylish. They hint at a sensitive, feminineside just waiting to appeal to those vital women voters,” the SundayTimes’ Maurice Chittenden sneered (speaking about the trunks) “Ooh!Suit you, Prime Minister,” while the News Of The World ran a photo anddescribed him ‘massaging sun cream into his man-boobs’.
Arch-critic Tony Parsons from the Mirror was even crueller, quipping‘while the nation stews in the aftermath of the terror threat, Blairponces around the Carribean in his floral print swimwear.”
“John Major bored and irritated us. Maggie Thatcher was hated,” Parsonsadded, “But no British Prime Minister ever made us feel sick quite likeTony Blair.”
Standard columnist Francis Wheen also poked fun at the PM’s breasts and predicted Tony’s problem could even get worse.
“‘The trouble with moobies’, an expert informs me, ‘is that you’ve gotto get your fat back in balance across the whole of your body’,” saidWheen.
Meanwhile in Spain, local councils in Barcelona and Sitges (the home ofPacha’s first ever club) began offering free aerobics and exerciseclasses on the beach this week, in response to the growing obesityepidemic afflicting beachcombers, particularly Brits.
“The classes are intended for everyone but I’m sorry to say it’s theBritish that could really use the aerobics more,” Costa touristofficial Marina Martinez told the Guardian.
“The Spaniards and French seem to take care of themselves more, theBritish spend all day on the beach and then go to Macdonalds fordinner,” she said.
