The Strokes hot August gigs

The Strokes’ ‘secret’ gig at Sydney’s Gaelic Club last November was the pick of 2005’s ‘in the know to get to go’ gigs.  New York’s cooler-than-cool quartet returns this August to show the rest of you what you missed out on, laying down tracks from their recent LP First Impressions of Earth. Catch Julian and co in Sydney at the Hordern Pavilion on Friday 4 August, and in Melbourne at Festival Hall on Saturday 6. Tickets go on sale this Friday 23 June at 9pm.
