The AMP 2005 winner announced

The Australian Music Prize Ltd, together with its partner PPCA and numerous industry sponsors, has revealed the winner of AMP 2005. Melbourne four-piece The Drones were presented with the $25,000 cash prize in recognition of their fine new album, Wait Long By The River And The Bodies Of Your Enemies Will Float By.
