TheXBox 360 will go on sale at 12:01am this Wednesday 22 March(technically Thursday, but y’know) amidst a carnival atmosphere atSydney’s Pitt Street Mall. As a bonus to all customers buying theconsole on launch night, the Pitt Street EB store will be giving away afree game with every XBox 360 purchased. Street performers and abundantfree food and drink will keep the crowds entertained from 9pm. Channel[V] is filming the festivities and Nova is broadcasting live from thesite. You can even get your hands on a wireless controller and gamesprior to the doors open. $30-$40 million worth of consoles and gamesare projected to go through the cash registers on the night.
