Splendour In The Grass trumps scalpers

In response to the much-publicised ticket scalping that took place at the 2005 Splendour In The Grass, organisers have made significant changes to the ticketing system for the 2006 event to be held July 22 and 23 at Belongil Fields in Byron Bay. The changes include no more single day passes, tickets only being made available via splendourinthegrass.com , an increase in price to accommodate for festival site expansion and a handful of security measures available for your perusal at the Splendour website. The first round of acts is announced on Wednesday 26 April, with tickets on sale Monday 15 May.
