Proof killer not charged with murder

The man who shot and killed Detroit MC Proof last month has eluded a murder charge, reported sohh.com. Mario Etheridge, a bouncer at the C.C.C. nightclub, shot Proof after the rapper pistol whipped and shot his cousin, Keith Bender, after an argument. According to Etheridge’s lawyer, the bouncer shot twice at the ceiling before firing in defence of his cousin. Weapons charges against Etheridge still stand.
